Micky's Sticky Licky Sweet n Zesty BBQ Sauce

Reviewed on Oct. 9, 2008 by Bernadette
This sauce is pretty good but I made a few changes. I used brown sugar instead of white, balsamic vinegar instead of white, and 1/2 tsp of celery seed (instead of celery pc's) and 1 tsp of onion powder instead of onion. It just made the sauce smoother. I also used 1/2 cup of ketchup and 1/2 cup of hp sauce. My husband loves it and I keep a jar in the fridge now :)

Bacon Roasted Chicken

Reviewed on Oct. 7, 2008 by mrmanning
This was quite good. I added chopped onions and garlic cloves to the cavity of the chicken. I used mini carrots instead of chopped large ones. I also added white wine to the beef broth, and I basted every ten minutes. The chicken was quite juicy and I was quite happy with the flavour. I used the drippings in a gravy, and it was filled with oniony, bacony goodness. I WILL make this again!!!!!

Beer Cheese Soup VI

Reviewed on Oct. 6, 2008 by mrmanning
A good version of beer and cheese soup. I added garlic to the mix, and I also added some pieces of cooked bacon to the soup before serving. Always a hit.
