About me:
I'm a senior in college, studing Biology and Spanish. Going to med school next year! My family is from Punjab in India, and I have been living in the midwest almost my entire life. I love to cook and bake, especially when I'm under stress--my friends ask me without shame when I'm going to cook their favorite foods for them! And my family eats what I cook, too! :-)

Baked Ziti Casserole

Reviewed on Nov. 16, 2008 by DLinwood
We thought this was very tasty. I added spicy sausage to the sauce as well as some defrosted chopped spinach. I added fresh basil to the ricotta cheese mixture, and used an Italian 3 cheese mixture in place of parm cheese. I too used more sauce than the recipe calls for. Thanks for a great recipe!

Whole Wheat Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed on Aug. 18, 2008 by Tanya C
Very good pancake recipe. Like others, I substituted 3 Tbsp. brown sugar for the artificial sweetener. The kids loved. Mine made about 16 and kids each ate 2 (3 yo and 5 yo). Will try bananas another time. I added vanilla, wheat germ, and flax seed. Love it that it's healthy and tasty.

Banana Oatmeal Cookies I

Reviewed on Aug. 11, 2008 by DIANNEB1
These are pretty good. I made them exactly according to the recipe. They turned out very soft and fluffy, cake-like. The cinnamon and cloves compliment the banana flavor. I think raisins would be a better addition than chocolate chips and that is what I will do next time. Another great recipe for my overripe bananas!
