About me:
Cooking became a hobby of mine some years back by helping gramma in the kitchen. Watching, tasting and learning what she did. Then trying to do better. Some people now call me KITCHEN BI****, rhymes with witch. LOL

Chicken Scampi II

Reviewed on Sep. 9, 2008 by Patrice
This recipe is a staple in my house, it's quick and easy and everyone loves it. I made a few modifications to suite our families taste buds. First I add more garlic usually I double what is suggested. I also simmer the chicken scampi on very low for a little longer to infuse the different flavors into the chicken.

Absolutely fantastic -- I fantasize about this dinner sometimes and personally, I think it's better than most restaurants' versions.

Cabbage Soup II

Reviewed on Apr. 13, 2008 by Mrs. Martin
My husband LOVES ham and cabbage (even though I generally despise them), so when he came home with a 6 lb ham and giant ball of cabbage, I figured this soup would be our best bet. We BOTH loved it. Thanks for the great recipe! Only change - used 5 cups of ham and just 5 cans of broth because it was all I could fit in that pot with everything else. I think I'll stick with those changes from now on too.
