I make dozens of these each Halloween. They are so cute! My kids expect to be able to take them to school even when I am not the Halloween party mom! I also take some to work and the people who dress up in costumes get one as a prize - they come looking for me to show me their costumes!

Convenient stewed tomatoes are the base for this spooky soup that gets extra richness from cream added minutes before serving. It's nicely flavored with garlic (to keep those vampires away!) and garnished with toasty bat wings. (They are a snap to cut out of white bread-see instructions below.)

Close your eyes and you 'll think that you 're eating old-fashioned glazed candied apples. Sliced apples, cinnamon candies, apple juice and a bit of cornstarch for thickening are simmered until the apples are tender. Then the lovely mixture is poured into a baked crust and chilled.

Satiny-smooth, homemade caramels are a snap with this easy recipe! Just be sure you have a candy thermometer on hand as you simmer sugar, corn syrup, evaporated milk, whipping cream and butter. Cool in a pan, then cut into squares.
